Assassin's Creed Introduces Surprising Attack on Titan Collaboration for Thanksgiving
In a bizarre partnership that defies conventional predictions, the game developer has announced an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Questline Revealed
According to the formal release, "A mysterious confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where whispers of banned rituals and monstrous transformations echo through the shadows." The narrative introduces a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who charges the pair with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a secret sect.
The adventure centers on "peculiar tests and a terrifying adversary" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Transformations
The preview features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser concludes with a striking sequence showing a character, likely the captive, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Rewards and Extra Content
Players who finish the mission will acquire an exclusive katana in addition to several objects hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

Third Free Story Content
This update also brings the game's newest free story episode, titled "The Enigma."
