Fantastic $30 Cartography Software Bundle Is a Online Gaming GM's Dream
After a brief run back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned for a limited time that lasts until Dec. 2. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the complete package is valued at over $1,300. And there are three different bundles available here.
Primary Feature
The big draw is definitely a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, a professional-grade mapping application that can be used to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, detailed regional charts, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Package Levels
Basic Package
The most affordable option, starting at just one dollar, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, over twenty-five aerial castle designs including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.
Intermediate Package
The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.

All 17 volumes from the Annual series come with this bundle, plus numerous other resource and asset packs enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or just go all-in on classic fantasy realm creation: combat arenas, dungeons, cities, and continents in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection is so worth it, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly an even better deal for map-making newbies considering you even get introductory guides to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though you can redeem the deal across platforms, the applications only function with Windows systems.
Charitable Component
As with other Humble Bundles, part of every purchase supports charitable organizations. For this one, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally through education, health care, and emergency relief. Package customization options appear near the page top, but you can also select any amount for a donation in the right-hand section. Additionally available is an donation allocation menu just below that, allowing you to adjust the distribution percentage allocated between the platform, developer, and charity.
